๐Ÿ† grant announcement - the bishop gamification prize ๐Ÿ†

Would you like to gamify your tasks - all without touching a line of code? Or do you know any PhD students or ECR who might?

Gamification is a powerful solution to participant engagement which is particularly important when working with children.

Games can also be useful for testing whether tasks are robust to changes in the surface features (graphics) of the task. If they arenโ€™t - thatโ€™s interesting! We have a controlled way of investigating reproducibility and discovering whether lab effects will persist in noisy real-world environments.

Over the last 10 years, weโ€™ve created games for Health research (COVID), Motor research (Motor Neuron Disease), Maths research (addition, subtraction, fractions), Language research (speachreading, grammar processing), and Executive Function research (inhibition training). The possibilities are endless! And now you can create games too!

This is a great opportunity to stand out from the crowd and try new approaches to data collection both online and in the lab.
